Upon closer inspection of the house we were looking to purchase, it became very clear that the first remodeling priority would be to swap out the cold-conducting aluminum 1950’s era windows with something much more energy efficient. In three days the job was done. The yard was clean of any job-related debris, the interior was left neat and we can now sit near a window without feeling a mysterious cold breeze. I would say this was a successful swap.
