At All Weather Seal of West Michigan, giving back isn't just a side project – it's woven into the fabric of who we are. Because we believe that by pouring into our local community, we can make a lasting difference, one act of kindness at a time. Through our AWS Cares initiative, we're dedicated to making a meaningful impact right here in our local neighborhoods. From partnering with charities to supporting local organizations, giving back is at the heart of everything we do.
In 2022, 302 wishes were granted with Make A Wish Michigan! All Weather Seal has made a priority to grant two of these wishes each year! In 2022, we were able to grant wishes for Hank, who was granted a hot tub to relax in after a long day with family and friends. Also, Sawyer, who was granted a camper to fill his wanderlust and explore with his little brother and family. Due to the impact of Make A Wish foundation children worldwide with terminal illnesses are given hope and the strength to keep fighting.

RMHC impacts lives all over the world, and thankfully the Greater Grand Rapids area. RMHC creates a home away from home that provides comfort, support and resources to families who must travel for their children's medical needs. All Weather Seal gets the opportunity to go quarterly to the Grand Rapids House to volunteer at the home. Our team goes treat baking to provide some sweet treats for those staying at the home, such as rice crispy treats and blueberry lemon cakes.

Habitat for Humanity comes together with volunteers dedicated to “building a stronger Michigan”; because everyone deserves a place to call home. Between Habitat for Humanity affiliates and volunteer efforts they are able to build and preserve hundreds of homes within the state every year; as well as assisting in energy efficiency. They also help many low income homeowners with crucial repairs, and affordable resources to help them stay in their home when times fall hard. All Weather Seal takes pride in getting hands on with putting on a roof for a low income family.

This incredible organization works to make sure our senior citizens and community members have all the nutrition they need. They also work to fight isolation, and make sure everyone has a friend and safety checks to make sure “all seniors live nourished lives with independence and dignity”. All Weather Seal had a wonderful opportunity to raise money for Meals on Wheels during the Mesick Mushroom Festival in the form of a company yard sale. Items were pay what you wanted/donation based and anything left was donated.

Emily Lewis, Head of Giveback Committee
“All Weather Seals’ priority in giving back is what drew me to the company in the first place, and now I have the opportunity to be part of the good work we do with the community. We show generosity, because that’s who we are. To make such a large impact on the communities of Western and Northern Michigan is my reason for getting up every day. I am grateful for All Weather Seal for their hard work every day and the AWS Cares Board for helping change the community one giveback at a time!”
Jakob Parsons, Northern Board Ambassador
“AWS Cares has given me so many amazing opportunities to be involved with local Michigan communities and leave a lasting impact on the places and people that are living here. It’s not every day you are given a chance to make a difference in a whole community, but with AWS Cares that becomes a real possibility. Having these chances to support others and help build them up helps me stay focused on what’s important in life and be grateful for everything I have. I am so proud to be a part of a company that truly cares about the individuals who’ve help build us up to where we are today!”
Sam Perkins, Southern Board Ambassador
“Being a part of the AWS Cares Board is amazing, I love watching us strive to help the communities we serve. I am genuinely so grateful for the opportunity of giving back with the company and making a direct positive impact on others around us. Everybody needs a little help at some point in their life and I feel so fortunate to be a part of a company that cares.
Jessica Raymond, AWS Cares Board
“I joined the CARES Board because I really believe in giving back not only to the company that I am a part of but to the community that I am a part of. If it wasn’t for others charity towards me, I may not be in the fortunate position that I am now and I feel like giving back doesn’t even begin to cover the gratitude I have for others.”
